Men's Breakfast Makeover
Seems the activity that usually occurs on the third Saturday of the month is going to change for June. We are still meeting on June 19th, but it will be for a clean up day, not our regular leisurely breakfast and program. Gather up your tools, family, and friends so everyone can share together in this event. Refreshments will be provided for all workers.
This might be an excellent opportunity for our summer campers to put in some "service time" toward their camp tuition scholarships.

Van Trip
In March of 1999, we took our first trip on our new (to us) blue bus. Over the twelve years of these travels we have logged a number of miles and had a great deal of fun. We have seen many things and eaten lunch at some really good eateries.
Tuesday, June 15th, we will head off to another venture. It could be close to home or a bit further away - whatever, it will no doubt be fun and enjoyable; capped with a fine lunch. Unless otherwise informed, we leave the parking lot at 9:30 a.m.. If you are 'brave enough' to go along with us, call the church office to put your name on our manifest.
Summer Camps
Thi is the time of the year when Christian camping season begins. Our youth is excited about attending camp this summer. As a congregation, we have assisted our families by providing half tuition scholarships - this is very helpful of families with more than one camper in the family. Remember there are opportunities for adults / families to attend camp as well.
Oregon Christian Convention
The annual gathering of the Christian Church, Churches of Christ; is set to begin on Tuesday, June 29th and continue until Sunday, July 4th. This year's President, Terry O'Casey, is putting together a good program. There will be something for everyone-from youngest child to the oldest adult.
Over the past few years, a van has gone down on Thursday to catch some of the Convention sessions, attend the Open House at Turner Retirement Homes, and join in some good fellowship. This year's "Thursday" is July 1st.
